At Platinum Spas we use only high-quality components, which is why we chose the world-renowned Balboa system as our control solution. Every Platinum Spas hot tub uses Balboa heaters, control panels and control boards.
The Colombo hot tub uses the TP700 control panel.
Thanks to the colour display and control buttons, users can easily perform all settings and configure the Colombo Hot Tub according to their needs.
BLUETOOTH SOUND SYSTEM
There is nothing better than a soothing massage while listening to your favourite music, radio station, podcast or even audiobook – and achieving this has become even easier with our Platinum Melody system.
This high-quality Bluetooth system is included as standard on all models and is very easy to use. Just search, then connect your smartphone or other device to the hot tub’s Bluetooth – and it’s ready.
ENERGY-EFFICIENT THERMAL INSULATION
In the Platinum Premium Shield system the heat is reflected back into the system, and the waste heat generated by the pumps and other components can be reused. This heat is then used to maintain temperature through heat transfer via the large number of plumbing pipes, helping reduce overall running costs.
The use of new foil-coated cabinet panels also reflects cold air away from the hot tub and returns heat inside, providing double benefit.
You will notice a significant difference in heat retention in the hot tub as well as reduced electricity costs.
WI-FI ENABLED CONTROL
Balboa Worldwide App (bwa™) is an app for your smart device (Android™ or iPhone®) that allows you to access your hot tub through a direct connection. Connect to your local Wi-Fi network or anywhere in the world where there is Internet access via 3G, 4G or Wi-Fi hotspots.
Using the bwa™ app you can be sure that your hot tub will be ready at any moment when you want to get in.
Instead of going outside and pressing buttons on the top panel, the app allows you to start the hot tub and change settings from your smartphone or tablet. The app gives full control of the interface, allowing you to set temperature, turn pumps on and off and even set filtration cycles. This system can be added as an option to any Platinum Spas hot tub.
